Yosemite Elopement | Guide & Tips

In the wild and beautiful scenery known as the Yosemite Valley I had the pleasure of photographing Edgar & Karina on their day together. Yosemite is known for its beautiful rock formations and tall mountains. Many people see it as a dream location for their wedding or elopement since it brings a certain atmosphere with it and all of its nature surrounding the park.

When going during the winter time, you can expect the park to be filled with snow all around. It gives a cozy and cold feeling to the style of the pictures. When going during summer you can expect the sun to be beaming down or peeking behind some of the parks mountains.

Here you will see everything from large waterfalls crashing against the rocks, to tall redwoods touching the sky and every once in a while some wild animals can be seen in the distance.

Here you will see the photographs captured while at yosemite. I hope to give you a good idea and paint a picture on your head of the scenery this magnificent area has to offer.

Yosemite is a great place to spend time together with that special someone. It can serve as a great wedding location, elopement gathering or just as a must see area to explore.

Both winter and summer time are great time zones to visit Yosemite Valley. They even offer cabins or camping areas in the park in case you feel the need to explore the park one day at a time.

This park has never ending hiking trails that lead to beautiful views and majestic looking backgrounds for some awesome pictures. If you are a first time visitor, I would recommend visiting my 3 favorite locations which are: El Capitan (Tunnel View), Mirror Lake and obviously the famous Half Dome. As a wedding/elopement photographer, I love capturing love in locations like Yosemite. If you are in need of a wedding photographer located near Yosemite, feel free to contact me here.

In this video I will show other areas that Yosemite has to offer:
